Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

 

Evidence in Earth Science is a fully open access journal committed to the widespread and equitable dissemination of high-quality research. By publishing open access, all articles are made freely available online immediately upon publication, ensuring maximum visibility, readership, and impact without barriers to access. This model promotes greater scholarly exchange, supports accelerated scientific progress, and enhances the potential for real-world application of research findings.

To sustain the rigorous editorial management, peer-review process, production, and long-term digital preservation, Evidence in Earth Science applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

Effective from January 1, 2026, the APC for all accepted submissions will be 4,000 CNY (Chinese Yuan) per article.

No submission fees are required, and the APC is only invoiced upon formal acceptance. Waiver or discount requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis for authors with genuine financial constraints.
